Early Warning Signs 

If you are not sure if you or someone you know is living with mental health problems? 

Take a look at the multiple feelings or behaviors listed on here to find out. Experiencing one or more of the following could be an early sign warning of a mental health problem 

  • Having low or no energy 

  • Eating or sleeping too much 

  • Distancing yourself from people and activities you once enjoyed

  • Feeling like nothing matters

  • Having persistent thoughts that you have no control over 

  • Hearing voices or believing things that are not true

  • Thinking of harming yourself or others

  • Inability to perform daily tasks like taking care of your kids or getting to work or school 

  • Yelling or fighting with family and friends

  • smoking , drinking , or using drugs more than usual 

  • Feeling confused , forgetful , angry , upset , worried , scared and on the edge

  •  Experiencing servere mood swings 

  • Feeling helpless and hopeless
