Mental health days need to be normalized. We all need a mental break from school , work and life to just focus on your mental health and well-being.
There is no need to feel ashamed for prioritizing yourself. We all need days where we need to take care of ourselves and rest up.
This goes hand in hand with self love , which is the most important type of love if you ask me. Yes , romantic and platonic love is important and part of life but loving yourself first is the most important before loving others.
Don't forget that it's your life and you matter!
